Infant Program
8 weeks to 18 months
From little feet to hands and knees and everything in between, our infant room is built for the journey toward independence.
Each infant follows his or her own natural sleep schedule.
Feeding and nutrition are handled on the individual infant’s schedule.
Diapering and changing happen on each infant’s own rhythm.
Developmental play follows each infant’s personal pace.
Early motor skills like rolling and grasping are noticed and encouraged as they emerge.
Mobility is explored in a safe, spacious room designed for freedom of movement.
Strength and balance milestones are supported at each infant’s own pace.
Cognitive growth and motor milestones are tracked in a Growth & Development record — given to you periodically for review and forwarded to you at the end of your child’s cycle.
Language and culture are absorbed effortlessly and unconsciously from birth to three — the first phase of the absorbent mind.
Babbling, pointing, waving, and mimicking are all part of an integral learning process, supported through rich verbal interaction.
Songs, rhythm, and non-verbal cues connect baby to the environment and stimulate the senses early on.
Focused, loving attention from early childhood professionals trained in Montessori education gives each infant a secure base.
