The child between three and six is not a smaller school-age student — they are a different kind of learner entirely.
During the Primary years, children cross from unconscious absorption into conscious discovery. They begin to ask why and how. They seek order, purpose, and the satisfaction of completing real work. The Montessori Primary classroom at Hamilton is a prepared environment built around that developmental truth: sequential materials, uninterrupted work periods, multi-age community, and a teacher who observes before directing. The result is a child who enters Kindergarten not merely ready — but genuinely curious and self-directed.

Infant Program
8 Weeks – 18 MonthsA warm, specially designed environment where each infant follows their own natural pathway — sleep, feeding, movement, and first language, all at their own rhythm.
Toddler Community
18 Months – 36 MonthsDiscovery, engagement, and belonging. Toddlers master daily tasks in practical life, develop social relationships, and become confident members of a caring community.
